Let’s TACObout Dip

6-Layer Taco Dip for the win.

We’ve all been there before. We get a call saying you’re invited to a party, you’re asked to make an appetizer, you agree, you hang up and bam. Confusion strikes!

You’re on appetizer duty and zero ideas have come to your mind. Yes you could bring a classic cheese tray. Sure, it’s good but you want to do a little something more. After all, this is your best friend’s friend of a friend.

One of my favorite party go-to dishes is my 6-Layer Taco Dip. It’s so easy, so delicious and of course a crowd favorite. So, let’s cut right to the chase.

Here’s what you’ll need:

1 can bean dip

8 oz. light sour cream

½ c. light mayonnaise

1 package taco seasoning

1 can ripe black olives (sliced)

2 green onions

1 tomato (diced)

1 c. light shredded Mexican cheese-blend

Here’s what you’ll do:

Grab a glass pie platter and spread the bean dip on the bottom.

Mix together 8 ounces light sour cream, ½ cup mayonnaise, 1 package taco seasoning and spread this mixture over the bean spread.

Sprinkle on a layer of sliced black olives.

Add those tomatoes.

It’s time for the onion layer.

The grand finale is here…CHEESE.

I mean, just look at this beauty. Bring this to your next party and I guarantee you’ll be making it again and again. That’s not a bad thing either. It’s. So. Easy.

So people, as the famous singer Bonnie Raitt once croonned,”Let’s give them something to TACO-bout.”
